Britain’s shameful role shielding Israel from a UN inquiry

After Gaza’s ‘bloody Monday’, the UNHRC passed a resolution setting up an international commission of inquiry. Despite an earlier call by UK Middle East minister Alistair Burt for some form of a UN inquiry, Britain abstained in the vote and the Foreign Office issued a statement taking an outright negative stance against the UN prob.
