Any data you provide to us, such as an email address, will only be used for the purposes we set out at the point you signed up. Information collected:
We do not collect any information about you from which you may be identified personally (‘Personal Data’’) unless you voluntarily submit such information to us by filling in a form.

The types of information that may be requested will be as listed in the form, and may include your name, gender, address, email address, and other information.

We will only use the information you provide to us for the purpose for which such information was provided.

Email addresses and opting-out
We collect email addresses as part of the registration process for our weekly newsletter, Politics@lunch.

If you have subscribed and change your mind, you can unsubscribe from newsletter mailings at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of any newsletter, or by emailing preferences@politics.co.uk.

We may contact you from time-to-time to check that the information we hold is correct. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other businesses. However, if you have opted-in to receive promotional emails, we may occasionally send you appropriate promotions from third-parties. You can request to stop receiving these by updating your preferences at any time.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to store email addresses and deliver newsletters to you each week. Age restrictions
Please note that we do not process the personal data of persons aged under 16 without parental/guardian consent. If you are under 16, we will assume you have been given or are providing parental/guardian consent to communicate with you.

Removal of data
We will upon your request deactivate your information from our active databases.

To make this request, send an email to deregister@politics.co.uk. Such information will be deactivated as soon as reasonably possible in accordance with the applicable law.

We will retain in our files some personal information you may have requested to remove, solely in order to keep an archival set of records and to comply with legal requirements as required or permitted by law.

Therefore, you should not expect that all of your personal information will be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests.

However, such personal information will only be available to our personnel who have a reasonable and lawful need to access it, or otherwise as legally required.
