Stephen Timms, head of the parliamentary committee for work and pensions, has warned that we are in a “golden age” of pension scams.
This is largely down to more people needing to access pensions as a result of financial pressures brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
The committee is calling for better regulation of internet companies who display adverts for these scams.
