Justice minister told: ‘Progress not quick enough’

During justice questions, Labour MP Alex Norris told justice under-secretary James Cartlidge that “progress is not quick enough” when it’s comes to the justice system.

Norris described the data in his constituency to show “cases are delayed, crime is up, charges are down”.

Cartlidge told the House of Commons that the UK are “making progress” but assured MPs “we want to go further”.
