Conservative MP condemns ‘intimidatory behaviour’ directed at Labour’s Rosie Duffield

Speaking in House of Commons business questions today, Conservative MP Anna Firth condemned the “intimidatory behaviour” directed at Labour’s Rosie Duffield.

Rosie Duffield drew the ire of some of her Labour colleagues in speaking out against Scotland’s gender reforms.

Ms Firth said: “No woman should be made to feel intimidated by a male member simply for speaking up for what she believes in”.

Leader of the House of Commons Penny Mordaunt replied: “It is only through listening courteous debate that we will end up with good legislation and and really focus on the issues that matter”.
