Concerns raised over future British army land battle plans

During defence questions, Conservative MP Richard Drax shared his concerns for the “future of the land battle” with the defence minister James Heappey.

Drax told the House that what has been on the TV screen in past weeks is a “justification” for large amounts of massed armour.

Heappey disagreed, explaining that massed armour would be “vulnerable to missile technologies” and that things are “not perhaps how we thought it was 20 years ago”.
