Cleverly: ‘Further details’ to come on safe and legal routes for Sudanese refugees

The foreign secretary James Cleverly today made a ministerial statement to the commons on the continued attempt to evacuate UK nationals from Sudan.

Pressed on plans to create safe and legal routes for Asylum seekers from the Sudan see conflict, Mr Cleverly said: “Now that the illegal migration bill has … gone through the parliamentary stages here in the commons, we will be, as we have promised, establishing a safe and legal legal routes that will be as part of our plan to control illegal migration. Further details will come through”.
