Full election team for Welsh Labour

Welsh Labour is gearing up for the general election and has now selected its full team of prospective parliamentary candidates.

Welsh Secretary Peter Hain said: “We have an excellent team of candidates who are working hard across Wales to get our positive message across. They are out and about meeting people, serving their local communities.

“With nine women candidates in winnable seats we expect to more than double the number of women MPs in Wales.

“There is a straightforward choice facing Wales. Forward with Labour, or back with Michael Howard and the Tories.”
