The Lords today: Net Zero and the resilience of the Armed Forces

The House of Lords sits from 11 am with the introduction of race report author Tony Sewell as a peer.

Ministers will then answer questions on support for manufacturing in the UK, the treatment of women in Afghanistan, reforms to the Mental Health Act 1983 and meeting the needs of autistic pupils in school.

The main business of the day will be debates on the resilience of the Armed Forces, Chris Skidmore’s net zero report and the life chances of vulnerable teenagers.
