Health and justice committees among those sitting today

At 10.00 am, three civil service unions will be questioned by the public administration and constitutional affairs committee (PACAC) about planning for the future of the government’s estates.

Also at 10.00 am, the education committee hears from childcare providers on the sector’s workforce challenges.

At 11.15 am, Chris Whitty, the chief medical officer for England, will be questioned by the health and social care committee about preventing ill health.

Also at 11.15 am, business minister Kevin Hollinrake will be questioned by the business, energy and industrial strategy committee about post-pandemic economic growth.

At 3 pm, attorney general Victoria Prentis appears alongside solicitor general Michael Tomlinson at the justice committees.
