Work and pensions secretary Thérèse Coffey was grilled by MPs this morning. She said that economic uncertainty during Covid was a factor in deciding against a review of the benefit cap last year. However she went on to say that a further review was possible ahead of next April, given the climbing cost of living.
Liz Truss has appeared before the Foreign Affairs Select Committee today.
