MPs probe Northern Ireland legacy plans

The Northern Ireland Affairs committee has today probed into the the UK government’s new proposals to address the legacy of Northern Ireland’s past.

The committee is currently running an inquiry into the issue.

On 18 March Northern Ireland secretary Brandon Lewis MP said some “significant” changes would be made to the Stormont House agreement.

Northern Ireland’s justice minister Naomi Long MLA admitted that there were changes in the agreement that needed to be “worked through”.
