‘The Conservatives are to blame for our mental health crisis’

During the Opposition Day Debate about mental health, Labour’s health minister Dr Rosena Allin Khan said that the 13 years of Conservative rule were to blame for the mental health crisis.

She said economic and social factors had lowered people’s mental health quality and had let this issue get out of control.

Minister Neil O’Brien disagreed and said that the government had introduced a number of measures and massively improved mental health.
