Miliband questions future PM net zero ambitions

During questions to the president of COP26, shadow president Ed Miliband questioned the ambitions of the future prime minister to achieve net zero.

Miliband described candidates as “economically illiterate, telling MPs that “there should be no place in serious political parties for such dangerous folly”.

Sharma defended the candidates, insisting that from what he had “seen and heard, all the three remaining contenders are committed to net zero”.
