Labour not looking ‘at the big picture’ on cost of living debate, says Leadsom

During an opposition day debate on the cost of living today, Conservative MP Andrea Leadsom told the House that Labour are not looking “at the big picture” on the issue.

She explained: “At the end of the day, unemployment matters so much. And when we look at in the United Kingdom now, we have the lowest unemployment since the early 1970s; in fact, since 1975, the lowest unemployment figures”.
