Daly repeats his call to protect pets from unnecessary euthanasia

In a ten minute rule motion, James Daly stood for a third time, calling for a bill to protect pets from unnecessary euthanasia.

Daly vowed to “keep going” as he pushes for his microchip bill which will allow vets to contact breeders or charities if they cannot confirm that the owner in front of them matches the contact on the microchip.

This will provide legal framework to tackle a “pandemic” of healthy dogs being put down.
