Brine accuses BBC Director General of workplace bullying within the organisation

The Director General of the BBC Tim Davie sat before the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee to answer questions about his organisation.

Steve Brine, Conservative MP for Winchester, opened by asking about cuts to BBC local radio. From there, he noted that long standing presenters of BBC Radio Solent in his constituency were being asked to make 60 second video demos of themselves explaining why they deserve to keep their jobs. Davie said he was unaware that this was happening, and Brine retorted that this was ‘workplace bullying’.
