Princess Royal’s bull terrier attacks again
A royal maid has been attacked by the Princess Royal’s bull terrier just days after the dog savaged one of the Queen’s corgis.
The English bull terrier named Florence attacked the woman at Sandringham on Saturday, biting her on the knee, Buckingham Palace confirmed.
The Sun newspaper said the maid was attacked when she and three other women entered Anne’s room.
The wound was a “minor bite,” the palace said.
The troubled dog is now expected to undergo “behavioural” therapy.
Last week, Florence badly bit Pharos, one of the Queen’s corgis. Pharos had to be put down.
The Queen was said to be ‘absolutely devastated’ after Pharos was put down.
Dotty, one of Anne’s other bull terriers, was originally blamed for the attack.
At the time, the RSPCA called for the ‘rogue dog’ to be put down in the interests of safety.
Princess Anne was the first member of the Royal Family to be given a criminal record when she was fined GBP500 for letting Dotty run amok in Windsor Great Park.
