The Lords today: Battle brewing over EU Retained Law Bill

The House of Lords sits from 2.30 pm with questions on support for bereaved children, police misconduct cases and access to minimally invasive cancer therapies.

This main business of the day will be the second reading of the retained EU law bill. Among those expected to intervene include former chancellor Ken Clarke, former Hong Kong governor Chris Patten, the former minister George Young, former deputy PM Michael Heseltine and former Brexit negotiator David Frost.
