The commons today: IndyRef2 and asylum seekers

The House of Commons sits from 11.30 a.m. with Northern Ireland Questions, followed by the final PMQs of 2022

Conservative MP Jonathan Gullis has a 10-minute rule bill, which attempts to ensure asylum seekers can be removed from the U.K. regardless of domestic laws or international treaties.

The main business will then be a general debate on Ukraine and an SNP opposition half-day debate. New SNP Westminster leader Stephen Flynn will introduce a bill to amend the Scotland Act and allow Holyrood to legislate for IndyRef2.

Conservative MP Marco Longhi has an adjournment debate about a cyber attack on South Staffs Water.
