Northern Ireland and home affairs committees among those sitting today

At 9.30 am, the Northern Ireland affairs committee hears from Troubles victims’ and survivors’ representatives on the continued impact of paramilitary activity.

At 10.00 am, Welsh economy minister Vaughan Gething and UK tourism minister Stuart Andrew appear before the Welsh affairs committee.

Also at 10.00 am, trade experts will discuss trade war at the international trade committee.

At 10.15 am, the home affairs committee looks at the future of policing with Criminal Bar Association Chair Kirsty Brimelow.

2.30 pm, the European scrutiny committee looks at the impact government proposals to amend the Northern Ireland Protocol will have on business.

Also at 2.30 pm, RAF chief Mike Wigston will be grilled by the defence committee.
