Selous calls for ‘guaranteed primary care funding for each 1,000 new homes’

In a Westminster Hall speech, Conservative MP Andrew Selous called on the government to provide “guaranteed primary care funding for each 1,000 new homes”.

This proposal comes following a “strain on the system” that leads to new housing developments being “vigorously opposed” by existing residents.

Selous explained that providing these funds would allow local services to “get ahead of the curve and stop the anxiety and upset” which residents and NHS staff currently experience.
