McMahon: Conservatives showing ‘contempt’ for seaside towns with sewage discharges

In an opposition day debate on sewage discharges, shadow secretary of state for environment, food and rural affairs Jim McMahon pressed the case against the “Tory sewage scandal”.

He said: “Now it is clear that either the Tories don’t know or they don’t care about the human impact of the Tory sewage scandal. This is every stretch of our coastline across the country and it shows you the contempt the Tories have for our seaside towns”.
