Lammy left flabbergasted by intervention

Shadow foreign secretary David Lammy slammed the government’s new legislation to overhaul the Northern Ireland protocol.

While responding to foreign secretary Liu Truss, Lammy was asked by Conservative MP John Redwood what his policy was to persuade the EU to adhere to the Good Friday Agreement.

Lammy responded with “negotiate”, telling MPs that “you do not break international law and alienate our partners and allies”.
