Gove: Labour ‘would take us back to the 80s’

During levelling up questions, secretary of state Michael Gove and shadow secretary Lisa Nandy clashed on the rail strikes and the cost of living.

Nandy told the House of Commons that Gove “doesn’t have the first clue how to spend” levelling up funds.

Gove called Nandy the Marty McFly of politics – “someone who lives in the past even as she aspires to greater things”.
