Foreign Affairs Questions: Stephen Flynn tells government to ‘cut the hyperbole’

SNP MP Stephen Flynn told the government to “cut the hyperbole, cut the bureaucracy” and get Ukrainian refugees “sanctuary in this country”.

Flynn criticised the government’s stance that Ukrainian women and children are “security threats”.

Foreign minister James Cleverly told the House that the UK will “open its arms” to Ukrainian refugees and that the government are “working to ensure that that is done promptly”.
