Piers Corbyn arrested for telling crowd to ‘burn down MPs’ offices’

Speaking to a crowd of anti-lockdown and anti-vaccine protestors in London yesterday, Piers Corbyn said, “We’ve got to get a bit more physical … [we’ve got to] burn down MPs’ offices”.

He suggested supporters take action against MPs and “lying vaccinators”. “We’ve got to hammer to death those scum, those scum who have decided to go ahead with introducing new fascism”, 73-year-old Mr Corbyn added.

As a result, Mr Corbyn was arrested in Southwark at around 1.45am on Sunday.

Home Secretary Priti Patel called the video “sickening”, adding: “I back police to take the strongest possible action against him”.

The brother of Jeremy, Piers Corbyn is an experienced “anti-vax” and “anti-lockdown” agitator. He was last arrested in February by police investigating leaflets that likened coronavirus vaccine efforts to the Nazi death camp at Auschwitz.

Today’s arrest comes amid heightened fears around MP safety following the murder of Sir David Amess, former Conservative MP for Southend West, who was stabbed to death at a constituency surgery on October 15.
