BA/Unite talks go on but more strikes expected

Analysts are expecting a further ballot of Unite members on strike action, despite continued talks between the union and British Airways (BA) management.
The talks come as cabin crew stage a third day of industrial action, in the second of three five-day strikes.
Acas, the conciliation services body, will preside over the talks but after months of negotiations and misery for passengers there is there is little expectation of success.
The remaining issues in dispute relate to travel perks, which Unite says have been taken from striking workers.
Most of the original issues, such as pay and working conditions, have already been resolved, it is understood.
The union said it would call off the strike as soon as travel perks are reinstated but BA insists the concessions can only be reintroduced as part of a final deal.
