Dr Caroline Johnson is the Conservative MP for Sleaford and North Hykeham, having first been elected to Parliament in a by-election in 2016. Caroline was elected in the 2019 General Election with a massive majority of 32,565.
The Sleaford and North Hykeham constituency is found within the county of Lincolnshire and covers the towns of Sleaford, North Hykeham in the south of Lincolnshire.  A rural seat with a high number of Brexit supporting and retired voters, this is currently one of the safest Conservative seat in the UK.
- Dr Caroline Johnson MP was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Department of Health and Social Care under Liz Truss in September 2022. She served in the post until October 2022.
Johnson previously served as Vice Chair of the Conservative Party but resigned in July 2022 in protest at Boris Johnson continuing to remain as prime minister.
Born in 1977, Caroline Johnson was educated at Newcastle University medical and worked as a consultant paediatrician at Peterborough hospital before being elected to Parliament.
Dr Johnson still practices on a part time basis at North West Anglia NHS Foundation, and according to the Register of Members Interests earns £17,971 in this capacity for 336 hours per year.
Johnson is Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Children who need Palliative Care.
A strong supporter of Brexit, Johnson is a member of the European Research Group of Tory MPs. She supported Boris Johnson in the 2019 Conservative leadership election.
Caroline Johnson is married with three children. Her husband is a local farmer.
