‘Sir Softy!’: Sunak accuses Starmer of being ‘soft on crime’

During Prime Minister’s Questions, leader of the opposition Sir Keir Starmer asked the Prime Minister about the government’s record on tackling crime.

Rishi Sunak retorted that the Conservatives were the party that were tough on crime, and said that there was a reason that Starmer was nicknamed ‘Sir Softy’, as he was soft on both crime and criminals.
