‘Schools are being left in limbo with what to do about questioning pupils’

A discussion was had about what advice should be given to schools with regards to their pupils who are questioning their gender.

Schools Minister Nick Gibb said that parents must be alerted if this happens, but some MPs were concerned about the safeguarding of said children being put at risk.

Shadow Women and Equalities Minister Anneliese Dodds said that schools are being ‘left in limbo’ and that whatever the advice may be, the government must act faster to deliver it so schools have guidance.
