The Lords today: Peer suspension vote and national security bill

The House of Lords sits from 3 pm with questions on accessible ATMs, aid to Afghanistan and adequate staffing in care homes.

There will then be a vote on whether to suspend two peers — Charles Chetwynd-Talbot (the earl of Shrewsbury) and Mary Goudie — who were both found to have engaged in paid lobbying.

The main business of the day will be the national security bill committee stage.
