Jo Cox Foundation ‘horrified’ by MP attack

The Jo Cox Foundation has said it is “horrified” to hear about the reported stabbing of Conservative MP Sir David Amess this afternoon.

The charity was founded after the Labour MP was murdered by a far-right attacker in her constituency days before the 2016 referendum.

They said via Twitter: “We are thinking of him, his family and loved ones at this distressing time.”
