Speaker of the house Sir Lindsay Hoyle hit out at the government today for releasing information regarding the delaying of lockdown easing to the media before it was debate in the House.
Speaking to the Commons, Hoyle said: “The fact is I am being misled, this house is being misled, it is not acceptable.”
The prime minister is due to make a statement to the press later this evening.
