A campaign group on wearing masks has criticised the government’s ‘mixed messages’ and ‘half-baked measures’ on the issue.
Dr Jonathan Fluxman, a retired GP and co-founder of Masks4all, says the government’s ‘any old mask will do’ approach has failed.
Dr Fluxman argues that politicians ‘manipulating the rules on transmission’ has exacerbated the effects of the pandemic.
