Fay Jones is the Conservative MP for Brecon and Radnorshire, having first been elected to Parliament in 2019, gaining the seat from the Liberal Democrats with a majority of 7,131. This result was less than a 100 days after the Lib Dems had temporarily won the seat in a 2019 by-election.
Brecon and Radnorshire is a rural constituency in the west of Wales, and contains the towns of Brecon and Ystradgynais.  For many years it was represented by the Liberal Democrats, and has a long tradition of being a tightly fought Liberal Democrat and Conservative marginal. It is the largest seat by area in Wales.

Born in 1985, Fay Jones studied French at King’s College London. She previously served as a communications advisor working for the National Farmers’ Union and for the public relations firm, Grayling. She also worked as a researcher for Prince Charles between 2009 and 2013.

She is Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Farming.
Jones is keen on exercise and is a former cox with Twickenham Rowing Club. She has completed a number of marathons, triathlons and half an iromman.
