Sturgeon responds to David Davis’ ‘conspiracy theories’

First minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, delivered a strong rebuttal to David Davis’ “conspiracy theories”, saying that parliamentary privilege “doesn’t turn falsehood into fact.”

Speaking in Holyrood, Sturgeon responded to questions from the leader of the Conservative party in the Scottish parliament, Ruth Davidson, by saying her party had done nothing illegal and claimed the allegations had come from the “old boys’ club”.

Davidson, who will shortly be joining the House of Lords, responded saying: “circumstances demand that somebody loses their job.”
