Roger Mullin

Biography:

Roger Mullin has been elected MP for Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath on May 7th 2015 with 27628 votes, taking 52.2% of the vote.

Roger has been an SNP active member for a long time. He was an unsuccessful candidate for the SNP in 1990, in the Paisley North by-election, and in the 1992 during the UK general election.

Roger graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a M.A. Honours degree in Sociology in 1977. He is an Honorary Professor at the University of Stirling where he teaches postgraduates Applied Decision Theory, The Political Environment, and Organisation Change. He writes a monthly column in The Times Educational Supplement Scotland and works as an educational consultant. His wife is also a SNP member, who tried unsuccessfully to be elected in the Ayr constituency during the 1992 UK general election.
