Biography:

Andrew Turner was re-elected MP for Isle of Wight on May 7th 2015 with 19366 votes, taking 49.8% of the vote.

He was first elected in 2001, but he – unsuccessfully – stood before in 1997, when he received 24,868 votes, with a swing of -13.9.

Andrew was educated at Rugby School, in Warwickshire, and then received an MA in Geography at the University of Oxford. Later, he studied to be a teacher at the University of Birmingham and Henley Management College.

Andrew lists his interests as reading, walking, old movies and avoiding gardening.
