Lee Anderson accuses Labour of ‘dog whistle politics’ over sewage debate

During the opposition day debate today on sewage discharges, deputy chair of the Conservative Party labelled Labour’s advocacy of the issue “dogwhistle politics”.

He said: “Why would anybody vote to dump sewage in waterways; it’s absolute nonsense. … . We all use our waterways. … Like all their silly ideas, the Labour Party have no real plan. It’s just dog whistle politics”.
