PMQs: Starmer accuses Johnson of ‘feeding off division’ as rail strikes loom

During prime ministers questions, PM Boris Johnson faced an onslaught of criticism from a Labour leader Keir Starmer that did most of the talking, as he told Johnson “the force just isn’t with him anymore”.

Starmer told MPs that he doesn’t want the strikes to happen but the PM does, accusing Boris Johnson of “feeding off the division” as train strikes loom. This came after Johnson pointed out that Starmer had stayed silent on the strikes.

After Starmer revealed that some Conservative backbenchers were referring to Johnson as the “Conservative Corbyn”, Johnson replied by telling the House that Jeremy Corbyn was “relatively dynamic” compared to Starmer.
