MPs paid tribute to the late Prince Philip today in the House of Commons.

Returning a day early from Easter recess, MPs from all parties expressed their condolences, with Lib Dem leader Ed Davey highlighting the “tidal wave of grief” that the Royal family would be feeling from losing a loved one.

In celebration of Prince Philip’s achievements, MPs highlighted his humour, his passion for engineering and the benefits brought about by the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
