Rayner questions government’s vision for the UK
In a speech during the debate of fairness at work, Labour’s Angela Rayner blasted the government for its “miserable vision” for the UK.
Rayner told the House of Commons that going out for dinner should not be a “luxury”.
The Labour frontbencher also referred to prime minister Boris Johnson’s comments in a recent TV interview, suggesting that the government are telling people riding buses to stay warm “that they should be grateful for that privilege”.
