Nandy clashes with Gove on Ukraine crisis

During Levelling Up questions, the shadow secretary of state Lisa Nandy asked the secretary of state Michael Gove how he can be “without any sense of shame” while Russia oligarchs put their UK property on a “fire sale”.

Nandy also highlights the statistic that “only 50 visas have been granted” by the UK to the 2 million who have fled the Ukraine crisis.

Gove rejected these concerns, telling the House that new legislation will mean that the UK has “the strongest sanction regime in the world”.
