Kinnock: Conservative MPs behaving like ‘right wing counterparts in America’

The House of Commons today entered the second day of committee stage consideration of the illegal migration bill.

Speaking in the debate, shadow immigration minister Stephen Kinnock said: “Many members on the benches opposite are increasingly sounding like their right wing counterparts in America, blaming every institution for their own failures, terrified of scrutiny from the media, unable to do their jobs within the law because they either don’t understand the law or because they’ve been over promoted”.
