Deputy prime minister accuses Labour of ‘working out grubby, dodgy deals’ with other parties

During cabinet office questions today, deputy leader of the Labour party Angela Rayner questioned deputy PM Oliver Dowden about the results from the recent local elections.

Mr Rayner said: “Can I start by offering also my heartfelt commiserations as well to the Right Honourable Gentleman who lost his own local Conservative councillors this week”.

Mr Dowden repsonded: “While we in this party are focussing on delivering for the British people, they’re out there working out grubby, dodgy deals between her party and other parties”.
