Sturgeon and Davidson clash in feisty FMQs

Nicola Sturgeon didn’t hold back in her criticism of the Scottish Conservatives during a fractious First Minister’s Questions.

After 8 hours of defending her conduct in the Alex Salmond inquiry yesterday, the first minister went out on the offensive, accusing Ruth Davidson of ‘playing political games’.

Ms Sturgeon suggested continued attacks on her reeked of “political desperation on the part of the Conservatives”.
