NHS dentistry is in ‘crisis’ with patients ‘failed on an unprecedented scale’, shadow minister says

The House of Commons today held a backbench business debate on progress on reforms to NHS dentistry. The debate was tabled jointly by Conservative MP Steve Brine and Labour MP Judith Cummins.

Speaking in the debate, shadow public health minister Andrew Gwynne said: “NHS dentistry is in crisis as we’ve heard today. Patients are being failed on an unprecedented scale. Many are having to suffer through an ending pain and misery because they cannot access the care they so desperately need”.
