MP calls for government to ‘do better’ in helping the victims of stalking

In a speech about stalking, Labour MP, Tonia Antoniazzi, told Westminster Hall that “women want to feel safe, and don’t”.

Antoniazzi called on the government to provide funding for police forced to “share practices across the board” in order to overcome a “police force lottery”.

The MP for Gower also warned that the role that social media plays in making details “available to the world can’t continue to go unchecked”.
