Liz Kendall urges government to commit to national carer strategy

The House of Commons today held a debate to mark National Carers Week.

Conservative MP Caroline Dinenage, who put forward the debate, said: “Today’s debate takes place during Carers Week, which is held each year to raise awareness for those who are caring, unpaid, for family and friends living with a disability or who are frail or who are unwell”.
